The name “Gyosei” originates from a sentence in the Analects of Confucius: “Governing by the power of virtues can be compared to the Polaris, which remains fixed in place while all the other stars orbit respectfully around it”. In other words, virtuous governance attracts talented people in the way that Polaris shines in the northern sky as the immovable star.
